Our Weekend

So Casey decided it was time to build the deck out back, so he got started on it Saturday, and still has the stairs, benches and planters to complete......but it looks great. I'm always so IMPRESSED by Casey's handy man work; it really does come out so nice!

While Casey was busy with the deck, Parker and I decided to hang out in the pool, and invited Gil; Parker's friend who lives next door over to play with us. The boys are about 8 months apart, but really have fun together.

After all that fun in the sun, we went to Shelley and Rob's house for dinner with all the kids. It's always so nice to have all the nieces and nephews together, I love the big family Parker has...........coming from such a small family its nice for him to have so many cousins to play with.

We're also getting ready for my dad's visit. He hasn't been down since August, and we haven't seen him since October. He'll be here over memorial day weekend............we can't wait for Parker to have some fun w/ his Gramps. June is a busy month for us..............but I'm looking forward to it all........we have a vacation with the Widners up to my Aunt Jan's beach house in the Outerbanks the 2nd week in June. Then we have the Shipley family reunion in Mt. Airy the 3rd weekend in June........Lots of traveling but LOTS of fun to be had for sure!!!! We're also hoping to see my good friend Jessica for a day in June, I know Parker would love to see his GodMother!!!

We go for Parker's 18 month check up on Wednesday of this week..........I can't wait to see what his measurements are. I know he has grown a bunch!

Oh, and his scar looks amazing............it has healed so NICELY, we're optimistic that it will be very minimal within a year or so.
